However … there’s been great interest in this:

“Clinical Tests Show Prograde Metabolism Helps Users Lose Weight, Body Fat”

Only a tiny percentage of supplements on the market today undergo product testing of any sort.

Prograde Metabolism has been thoroughly tested by a highly respected research team in one of the largest controlled clinical trials on a weight loss dietary supplement to date – and then was statistically analyzed by an independent third party.

The following were the results/findings of Prograde Metabolism relative to placebo:

  • 4.2 times greater weight loss

  • 2.9 times greater loss of body fat

  • 4.3 times greater gain in lean mass

  • 7 times greater decrease in hip girth

  • 8 times greater decrease in waist girth

  • 5 times greater increase in subjective feelings of energy, and

  • 4.3 times greater increase in lean mass-to-fat mass


In short, subjects taking Prograde Metabolism became leaner, more toned, and better calorie burners.

Equally noteworthy was that there was no significant difference between Prograde Metabolism and the placebo in side effects or adverse events based on comprehensive clinical safety assessments.

The study was led by Drs. Hector Lopez, M.D., CSCS, FAAPMR, and Tim Ziegenfuss, Ph.D., FISSN, at the prestigious Center for Applied Health Sciences (CAHS), a multi-disciplinary research center that focuses on the impact of dietary supplements, medical foods and pharmaceuticals on health and human performance.

Seventy healthy men and women participated in the randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study, comparing the results of ingesting four capsules per day of Prograde Metabolism or a placebo.

Both groups underwent eight weeks of daily supplementation, a calorie-restricted diet, and supervised exercise training.

All subjects were tested for changes in body composition (DEXA), serum adipokines (adiponectin, resistin, leptin, TNF-?, IL-alpha) and general markers of health (heart rate, blood pressure, and comprehensive clinical chemistry panels of sera and plasma), before and after eight weeks of supplementation.

The final results of the Prograde Metabolism study were presented at the International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN) annual conference June 22-23, 2012 in Clearwater, Fla.

It’s important to note that there was no significant difference between Prograde Metabolism and the placebo in side effects or adverse events based on comprehensive clinical safety assessments.


To maximize scientific validity, the study was conducted in accordance with the guidelines of the International Conference on Harmonization of Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP). ICH-GCP is an international ethical and scientific quality standard for designing, conducting, recording, and reporting trials that involve human subjects.
