For
years and years, many women have turned to LA Weight Loss to get
rid of their excess pounds. This staple for the dieting community
has stood the test of time for many reasons. While some have complained
about their services, many have sung their praises as well.
It
is important to take a personal inventory before even entering LA
Weight Loss in the first place. This will make the difference between
your singing their praises and filing a complaint with the management.
The
first thing you have to consider in your personal inventory is why
you are looking to LA Weight Loss for your dieting needs.
We
all know the basics of weight loss. Eating less and exercising more
will lead to your shedding pounds while eating more and exercising
less will result in your gaining weight.
If
we know this general rule, why to we look to LA Weight Loss for
help?
You
may need the support that only a service like this can provide.
It is easy to know the general rule of dieting but it is seemingly
impossible to follow it. Joining an organization like LA Weight
Loss will help you stay on track.
However,
if you are joining to get a quick-fix for your weight problem, you
have gone to the wrong place.
One
of the critics of LA Weight Loss is a dear friend of mine who lamented,
“Oh yeah, I gave them a bunch of money and they told be to put myself
on a diet.” She was livid that there was not more to the system
than consultations, menus, counseling and supplements.
While
I can understand that she felt like she was paying for nothing,
I think that she was simply expecting too much. It seems as if my
friend wanted LA Weight Loss to lose the extra pounds for her. She
didn’t expect to have to put any effort into her dieting success.
This
perspective was detrimental to her relationship with the organization
and it was detrimental to her dieting goals. She failed at her diet
because she was not willing to put forth any energy or time into
the program. She expected LA Weight Loss to do this for her.
Losing
weight is not a passive activity. It takes determination and will
power. Simply joining a group like LA Weight Loss, Weight Watchers,
Jenny Craig, or similar organizations will not guarantee success.
Remember
that it is a collaborative effort. The staff is dedicated to their
clients. The clients need to be dedicated as well.
